Helen Harper is an author with a fun imagination. As a rabid bibliophile, I enjoy all kinds of books. As a complete nerd, I really enjoy sci-fi. Ms. Harper creates vivid worlds that are fun to explore. Yes, sometimes it is clear where they are going, but it's still an enjoyable journey. One of the signs that the world she creates is great,is that part of you would really love to believe it is real. She also has a sense of humor. Read all her books. Support her exploration and creation of somewhere new. I need more books to read. Seriously.Product details

Night Lights Dreamweaver Book 3 edition by Helen Harper Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I couldn't put it down!! Anything written by Helen Harper is just fun to read. I love the idea of a hidden dream world where Travelers go and that Zoe is there with her"family" to keep it safe from those who would exploit defenceless people as they dream.
This is one of the best trilogies I've ever had the pleasure of reading (although, I'd be totally okay if Ms. Harper continued Zoe's adventures, or jumped into someone else's story, like Bron or Esme or Ashley, just because I love this world). This trilogy is DIFFERENT in every way, it flirts with but ultimately avoids so many cliches found in other books, and it's so refreshing!
The world is imaginative and fast-paced, the scenarios are sometimes funny, sometimes harrowing, but ultimately satisfying in their conclusions, and I really like that I usually can't entirely guess what's coming. I was on the edge of my seat wondering how Zoe was going to defeat The Department, what was going to happen to Esme, if Dante was going to turn out to be a bad guy or good guy, and whether or not I'd be happy with the end. Even though not everything worked out quite the way I secretly hoped, I was still satisfied with the ending because it was realistic and didn't surrender to the cliches and tropes, it stayed true to the books and the characters, and wrapped up everything with all the answers I'd wanted.
Well done, all around! I started reading Ms. Harper because I really enjoyed her Highland Magic series, I enjoyed this one even more, and now I'm off to check out her other offerings! Just stellar!
Wow! What an original storyline. I kept rooting for Dante but oh well. Simply an amazing story. This was my favorite book in the series. I liked how Zoe found her strength and this one was faster paced than the other 2. I'm glad I stuck with it because I almost stopped in the middle of the 1st book because it started to drag. I highly recommend this series.
I really really wanted Dante to be a good guy ( but this isn't a fairytale. Its a lot more complicated in real life. I spent the last week reading this book and the first two of the series and I honestly couldn't put them down fast enough to get to the next one. I was pleased to see Zoe grow as a dream weaver and as a person. There was action, adventure, secret affairs, blackmail, cool interpol machines and some one got shot what more can you want. Well I want another book with more adventures with Zoe and Esme.
"Night Lights" is the last book in the "Dreamweaver" trilogy written by Helen Harper. Zoe, and several others are on the run from the Department in the waking world. They know who Zoe is in the real world and have already proven that they were will go to great lengths to get what they want. As a result Zoe must attempt to reach other time zones to enter their Dreamlands to learn more about the Department and how to bring it down. Can Zoe learn enough about her powers to bring down the Department once and for all, or will she have to submit to their demands in order to protect the people she knows in the real world?
Overall, this was a great end to a fantastic trilogy. Each of the characters have their moments of growth throughout the series. The plot line is fairly fast paced and entertaining. Harper continues to write engaging new worlds filled with interesting characters. I highly recommend reading her books.
The first chapter of this last book in the series is money. The authors words are insightful without being forced. I would have highlighted the whole damn thing if I’d thought about it.
The ending, however, wasn’t my favorite. I think I was cheering for Dante so much that it broke my heart to see his character not evolve into a better version. I like a good villain and I love a good reformed villain aka villain with a cause. I did not like that his character felt so flat. His motives were only power and control? I’m just not sure. I’m all for non-traditional endings and skipping happily ever afters, but this one missed the mark for me.
I’m still going to keep pushing on with my Helen Harper binge, but I’ll forever think of all the things my precious Dante could have become.
Wow what a brilliant final book to this wonderful series. I loved every minute of it. Thank you Helen for outdoing yourself once again. Keep up the great work so I have more wonderful books to read. Thank you
